Yankuba Minteh stated in comments reported by TEAMtalk: "I am focused. I am at Brighton, and this is the team I play for, this is my team, and I don't want to talk too much about transfers. Whatever God has decided for me, I am happy with it."
Liverpool attempted to sign Yankuba Minteh during the summer as a replacement for Mohamed Salah on the right flank, but Brighton refused to part with the player, amid speculation that the club could renew their interest in January.
Yankuba Minteh has been absent from Brighton since the start of the season due to an injury sustained against AS Roma on August 8, but he has confirmed that his return is imminent, stating: "Very soon, very soon."
Despite the player's statements, the source clarified that Yankuba Minteh still wishes to move to Liverpool, indicating that it depends on how keen the English club is to sign him, and that his future could remain in the Premier League if he leaves Brighton.
