Hani Hattahout has disclosed in television statements the status of Ali Mahmoud, the Al Ahly player, regarding his participation in the upcoming derby match against Zamalek, scheduled for next Sunday, October 11, in the sixth round of the Premier League.

Ali Mahmoud held a meeting with Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, sponsored by Wael Gomaa, the director of football, to resolve the disagreement that occurred between them during the match against Al Mokawloon Al Arab. This session came immediately after the player's participation with the Egypt national team.

Ali Mahmoud has been excluded from Al Ahly's squad for the match against Abu Qir Fertilizers following a dispute with coach Hussein Amouta, but the player quickly denied any disagreement on his social media accounts.

The meeting saw a mutual discussion where each party presented their viewpoint, paving the way for a resolution to the crisis, and brought the player back into the considerations and formation of the team's coaching staff.

Regarding Ali Mahmoud's position for the upcoming clash against Zamalek, Hattahout clarified that there is a tendency for the player to be included in Al Ahly's squad, with the possibility of him getting a chance to participate, either as a starter or as a substitute, after the crisis has ended and the atmosphere between him and the head coach has calmed down.
