The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" confirmed that Al-Fateh have officially informed their coach Khalid Al-Otaibi of the decision to end his duties with the team, thus bringing his experience with the club to a halt.
In conjunction with the departure of Al-Otaibi, Al-Fateh have reached an agreement with Moroccan coach Jamal Salami to take charge of the team for the upcoming period, with a contract lasting one season.
The agreement with Al-Salami still requires approval from the financial oversight of the Saudi Pro League before the official announcement of the contract completion and the Moroccan coach taking on his new role.
Al-Salami is expected to lead Al-Fateh in the upcoming phase as financial approval is awaited, in an attempt to reorganize the team's situation and improve its results during the current season.
