Al-Wahda have announced a series of corrective decisions following the recent negative results of their football and basketball teams. This comes after an evaluation of the technical and administrative aspects, in a move aimed at correcting the course and regaining the competitive ability of both teams.

In basketball, the management has decided to relieve Serbian coach Miodrag Rajkovic of his duties, while completing the administrative and contractual procedures according to the approved regulations, and appointing Iyad Ramiha as the first team manager to oversee its administrative and organizational affairs. Omar Sharif has also been tasked with the technical supervision of the team during the Damascus Championship, while Youssef Manaa and Abdullah Hijazi will lead the team technically in the tournament.

In football, the management has decided to issue official warnings to the technical and administrative staff, along with taking measures related to financial deductions according to the approved regulations and contracts. A final warning has also been issued to the head coach Ahmed Azzam, granting him one last chance during the next match, with his fate to be determined based on the result and the technical performance.

The decisions included subjecting all players from both teams in football and basketball to a comprehensive individual technical evaluation, based on performance levels, discipline, commitment, and technical output. This will be accompanied by a review of current contracts and future signings, paving the way for appropriate decisions regarding the continuation of players or making changes to the squads.

Al-Wahda's management has confirmed that the upcoming phase will focus on work, accountability, and correcting the course. They emphasized that wearing the club's jersey represents an honor and a responsibility that cannot be taken lightly or neglected, and that the club's interests and the aspirations of its fans will remain above all else.
