Three main reasons led to the heavy defeat of 4-1 against Al-Ain in the match held at Basra International Stadium for the second round of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Despite late attempts to come back in the second half, the complete lack of focus from the start cost "the Hawks" all three match points and left them stuck at the bottom of the table.

The details of the technical and tactical reasons that decided the match are as follows:

Firstly: the mental collapse and lack of focus in the first quarter of an hour; Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya paid dearly for their disorganized start to the match, leading to naive and simple defensive errors that resulted in conceding three quick and consecutive goals, effectively sealing the match in favor of the visitors before the end of the first half.

Secondly: the absence of effectiveness and attacking luck at critical times; despite the improvement in the team's tactical performance in the second half and the creation of genuine chances, the lack of a final touch and the haste of the attackers led to a missed crucial penalty by Mohamed Jawad, in addition to wasting a clear one-on-one opportunity against the opponent's goal and the disallowance of another goal, which deprived the team of the chance to reduce the deficit early.

The significant difference in technical capabilities between the two teams was evident throughout the 90 minutes, with the attacking system of Al-Ain clearly superior. They boasted high-caliber players who successfully exploited spaces optimally and imposed their tactical rhythm, benefiting from the lack of cohesion and harmony in the defensive lines of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
