Rwandan army coach Talib Abdul Rahim has stated that his team's match against Zamalek SC in the CAF Champions League tomorrow will be difficult and that he is preparing his players mentally for the encounter.
Zamalek SC will face their Rwandan army counterpart tomorrow, Friday, at Amahoro Stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Round of 32.
Taleb Abdel Rahim stated in official remarks: "I think it will be a tough match for both of us.. We will start with the same chances that we will play for."
The Moroccan coach added: "It is true that Zamalek SC is a great club, having conquered Africa for a while, and they are now the holders of the Egyptian league title, but we are also the Rwandan army."
He continued: "We respect them, just as we have always respected our opponents, but we trust in the quality of our team's play, in the individual and collective value, and most importantly, the motivation and mentality of the players."
He added: "So, it is a match we will play, and I hope we are at our highest physical, technical, tactical, and most importantly, mental levels, so that we can qualify for the group stage, why not... It is an opportunity for us."
Taleb Abdel Rahim concluded his statements by saying: "I wished to face Zamalek immediately after the end of the first round match, because the motivation at that time was very high, but now we are focusing on the mental aspect for the players."
