Al Faisaly secured a thrilling victory over Al Khulood with a score of 3-2 in the match that took place on Thursday evening as part of the ninth round of the Saudi Pro League, turning around a deficit to achieve a dramatic win thanks to the brilliance of Alexander Mendy.

Mendy opened the scoring early for the home side in the 7th minute, but Shakuweli Penas equalized with a powerful free-kick in the 19th minute, before Julian Dominguez gave his team the lead just before half-time.

Al Faisaly refused to give up after the break, with Mendy scoring again in the 49th minute, benefiting from a precise through ball from Flavio, bringing the match back to a level point and igniting the battle for the three points.

The final minutes were intense, before Mendy delivered the decisive blow in the 85th minute, converting a header from Abdullah Al-Muqrin into a goal with his head, following a corner kick, completing his personal hat-trick and giving Al Faisaly a valuable victory.

Al Faisaly has increased its tally to 6 points, sitting in 15th place in the Saudi Pro League table, while Al Khulood remains on 12 points in 8th place after missing the chance to secure a positive result despite leading in the first half.
