The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo missed the collective training session of his national team in Malmö today, as he returned to the team's hotel after a short talk with coach Jorge Jesus.

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo trained alone in the hotel gym after he saw that the pitch where the training session was held did not have the equipment he needed to carry out his training program properly.

The Portuguese Football Federation confirmed that it has no information suggesting Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering from a physical problem, meaning that his absence from the team training is not related, according to available information, to any declared injury.

Portugal prepare to face Denmark on Thursday in the third round of the UEFA Nations League, with Cristiano Ronaldo having also missed the recent match against Norway, which ended in a 2-1 victory for Portugal.
