Denzel Dumfries reacted angrily during an interview with Dutch media after the Netherlands drew 2-2 with Greece in the third round of the UEFA Nations League.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", Denzel Dumfries was angry with someone who kept interrupting him while he was speaking, after he touched on the Netherlands' disappointing performance in the first half.
Dumfries said: "We had to forget the first half and give everything we had in the second half, but you saw that it was worth it."
The Dutch full-back spoke about the goals that were disallowed during the match, confirming that the first goal should have been counted. He said: "It is very frustrating, but I told the referee that."
During the interview, Dumfries began to hear loud voices from the person who interrupted him, deciding to stop the conversation and send a message to him saying: "Sorry my friend, show some respect, we are having an interview."
The incident did not escalate further, and the Real Madrid player was able to continue the match normally.
