FC Barcelona are set to return to training on Tuesday, with a number of their international players absent due to the international break, while Hans Flick has decided to give the players not called up for their national teams an extended rest.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", non-international players will continue training at the Juan Gamper Sports City until Friday, before receiving a 9-day break. They are Wojciech Szczęsny, Gerard Martín, Balde, Gavi, Brian Fariñas, and Gabriel Jesus.
FC Barcelona will not hold scheduled training sessions from September 26 to October 4, while injured players Juan García, Christensen, De Jong, and Bardi will continue to attend the club's facilities to follow their recovery programs.
The team is set to return to training on October 5, initially without the international players, as Flek prepares for the match against Getafe on October 10 at Spotify Camp Nou.
The source indicated that Flick's decision came after the significant effort the team made at the beginning of the season to maintain their winning streak, allowing the players a chance to rest and regain their full energy.
