Luis de la Fuente, the head coach of the Spain national team, has suffered another blow as it has been confirmed that Nico Williams will miss the team's remaining two matches during the current international break.

According to the Spanish Football Federation, winger Nico Williams has left the Spain national team camp after suffering a muscle problem in his left thigh following the match that Spain played against Croatia in Sevilla.

During the rest day, Nico Williams underwent close monitoring by the medical staff of the national team, but the persistence of pain prevented him from participating in Thursday's training, leading the medical team of the Spanish Football Federation to decide to end his involvement in the current camp.

After undergoing the necessary medical examinations, it has been decided that the player will return to Bilbao to continue his recovery under the supervision of Athletic's doctors, with the club continuing to monitor the developments of his condition closely.

Nico Williams will miss the current international break following injuries to Erik Garcia and Alejandro Grimaldo, who left the national team's camp earlier, adding to the list of absentees for La Roja during this break.

Despite these absences, De La Fuente has decided not to call up any new players to replace Nico Williams, and thus the Spain national team will continue its journey in the Nations League with a squad of 25 players.

The Spain national team will head to Oviedo on Friday in preparation for their match against Croatia, as De la Fuente seeks to manage absences and maintain the readiness of the remaining squad.
