Spanish coach Pablo Franco has signed electronically to take over as manager of Esperance Tunis, after previously reaching an agreement with the club's management regarding leading the team.
The former coach of MAS Fes is expected to arrive in Tunisia in the coming hours to begin his new role after a delay due to family circumstances.
Franco will take over as coach of Esperance Tunis following Romanian coach Laurențiu Reghecampf's move to FCSB.
Reghecampf missed last week's scheduled departure for Esperance Tunis's trip to Ain Draham, where the team was preparing for a closed training camp, before the club management reached an official agreement with the new coach to succeed him.
Reghecampf left his position at Al-Hilal shortly after renewing his contract, before moving to manage Esperance Tunis last June.
Esperance Tunis currently sits fourth in the Tunisian league table with 9 points, gathered from three wins and one defeat.
The Tunisian team is preparing to face Al-Suwaihli from Libya in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
