The Italian newspaper "Il Messaggero" revealed that a Qatari investment fund linked to the ruling Al Thani family has expressed interest in purchasing a minority stake in Inter Milan, a potential move that could open the door for new investors into the ownership of the Italian club.

According to reports, the Qatari fund has made initial contacts with American group "Oaktree", owner of Inter Milan since May 2024, to explore the possibility of acquiring a stake in the club, without reaching any formal negotiations or final agreement so far.

The potential move does not mean a change in the main ownership of the club, as "Oaktree" does not seem ready to relinquish control of Inter Milan at this time. However, the entry of a new partner could increase financial resources and support future development plans.

These reports come amid growing interest from international investors in the Italian club, particularly with its aspirations related to the new stadium project and improving its commercial resources. However, the entry of the Qatari fund into the ownership of Inter Milan remains merely a possibility under exploration, awaiting any official confirmation from the parties involved.
