Sean Dyche is preparing to return to management in the Premier League, after around eight months since the end of his brief experience with Nottingham Forest.

Dyche, 55, has extensive experience in English football, having previously managed Watford, Burnley, and Everton. His long stint with Burnley was the highlight of his managerial career, where he led the team to promotion to the Premier League twice and also took them to participate in European competitions.

Sean Dyche took over as manager of Nottingham Forest in late 2025, but he remained in the position for only 114 days before being sacked last February. Since then, he has stepped away from coaching and worked in television analysis, but he is now ready to listen to offers and return to the sidelines.

According to reports from Football Insider, Crystal Palace are studying Sean Dyche's name among the list of potential coaches to succeed Pierre Sage, should the club decide to dismiss the French manager. Dyche has been held in high regard by the Palace management for some time and has previously appeared on the club's coaching options.

Saj still enjoys the support of Crystal Palace's management at the moment, but his position has become more difficult due to a rocky start to his time with the team. Despite recent improvements in results, having lost only once in the last five matches across all competitions, the upcoming matches against Nottingham Forest, Lyon, Brighton, and Beşiktaş could be crucial for his future.

The position of Dyche in the list of candidates to succeed Sag is still unknown, with other names such as Thomas Frank also on the club's radar. However, Palace's management may revert to the option of Dyche if they decide to make a change at the helm of the coaching staff.

Sean Dyche is not relying solely on Crystal Palace's opportunity, as reports indicate other clubs are monitoring his situation amid the pressures faced by several Premier League managers. The period following the international break could see several changes at the managerial level.

Dyche appears open to a return to management, ready to consider offers as he seeks a new opportunity to lead a Premier League club.
