According to the Brazilian newspaper "Globo", the medical tests that Raphinha underwent did not reveal any muscle injury, but only showed a minor swelling.
Despite the absence of a muscle injury, the technical and medical staff of the Brazil national team decided to exclude the player from the match against India as a precautionary measure, opting not to risk his participation in the upcoming game.
Raphinha started in Brazil's friendly match against Australia, which ended in a 4-2 victory, before being substituted at half-time due to thigh pain.
