Austrian David Alaba has officially introduced himself as a new player for Udinese, stating that his move to the Italian club was driven by his ambition and desire to continue developing, not to end his football career.

David Alaba, aged 34, said during his presentation conference: "I decided to come here not based on what I have achieved in the past, but for my future. I am a very ambitious person, and I always want to achieve more, which is why I chose this important project."

Austrian defender David Alaba, a four-time UEFA Champions League winner with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, stated: "I believe this is the right step in my career. I did not come here to end my career, but because I believe this is the right place to continue my journey and achieve more."

Alaba also spoke about his new defensive teammate, Frenchman Omar Souali, praising the levels he has been showing. He said: "Omar is an amazing example of the quality of this group, he is a game-changer, and he has always proven that, I noticed it from the first days."
