Al-Hussein Amouta, the head coach of Al Ahly FC, stated that his team's match against Eastern Company ENPPI today in the Egyptian League was difficult, noting that he was aware that the start of the league would not be easy.
Al Ahly FC won against Eastern Company ENPPI with a score of 3-2 on Sunday evening at Cairo International Stadium in the first round of the Egyptian League.
Al-Hussein's coach, Amouta, said during the press conference after the match: "The match was difficult; we conceded two goals after we had been in control, and several factors affected the team."
The club clarified: "Achraf Dari has been registered and we will see him with the team in the upcoming period. Yasser Ibrahim was not present today, and we may see an official statement in the coming days to finalize his departure completely."
He continued: "Emam Ashour has not recovered from his injury, he is a great player, but he has not participated fully in training, and the player was not physically ready for that, so we cannot risk playing him for fear of exacerbating his injury. Certainly, Emam is a player of great value, and he indeed requested to participate, but I informed him that I cannot field him unless he is fully fit."
He added: "Al Ahly FC is a big and popular club, everyone is looking to win titles. Today the start was difficult, and I knew that the beginning would be tough."
