Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea has reached a final agreement with English midfielder Jordan Henderson to join them during this summer's transfer window.
According to Romano, the former Liverpool captain has agreed to sign a contract that will last for two seasons with Chelsea, keeping him at the London club until June 2028, with official contracts set to be signed this week.
The report indicated that Henderson has completed his journey with Brentford and is now ready to move to Chelsea, who will sign him in a new deal to strengthen the team's midfield in preparation for the upcoming season.
Brentford has officially announced the termination of Jordan Henderson's contract by mutual agreement between the parties. The club stated: "Jordan Henderson has left Brentford after reaching a mutual agreement to end his contract."
