Italian newspaper "Tuttosport" has revealed that Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz is eager to make a move to Manchester United during the current summer transfer window, with Old Trafford being his preferred destination to continue his career.
According to the report, Juventus does not oppose the player's departure this summer, having set his sale value at €30 million, as the club seeks to reorganize its squad and make room for new signings.
The newspaper added that negotiations could involve a swap deal, as Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee is among the names being considered in the agreement, especially since Juventus is showing interest in acquiring the services of the Manchester United striker.
Despite the absence of a formal agreement so far, Douglas Luiz's desire to wear the Manchester United shirt could give the English club an advantage in negotiations, while both parties continue to explore various options to reach a satisfactory arrangement in the coming days.
