Chelsea's Ukrainian international Mykhailo Mudryk posted an emotional message on his official Instagram account after his appeal was accepted, allowing him to return to team training following a long absence due to a doping case.

Mudryk stated: "After a long battle, the four-year ban imposed on me has been lifted, and I can now resume my professional career with immediate effect. I am grateful that this process has ended on a good note, that I can return to football, and that I can now look to the future with optimism."

The player stated: "This has been the most difficult period of my career. As I have always confirmed since the beginning of this issue, I have never intentionally or knowingly taken any banned substance. My commitment to competing fairly and representing my club and country with professionalism and integrity has always been fundamental to me."

The player stated: "I would like to thank my family and friends for their support and trust throughout this period, and I also want to express my deep gratitude to all the members of Chelsea, to my teammates, and to the Chelsea fans who have been by my side all this time."

He stated: "I would also like to thank my legal team and the others who helped me with their hard work on my case. Now my attention is focused on my return to football, on the daily hard work, and on making a positive contribution on the pitch."

The player concluded: "Thank you to everyone who continued to believe in me. I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter of my professional career."
