Arsenal is moving closer to taking a new step in their quest to sign Brazilian star Vinicius Junior, having reached a preliminary agreement with the player regarding personal terms, according to reports.

According to the HandofArsenal account, Roc Nation will soon start negotiations with Real Madrid to explore the possibility of completing the transfer and to determine the price the club wants for the player.

The report added that Arsenal's management is ready to make a huge financial offer in an attempt to convince Real Madrid to part with their Brazilian winger during the summer transfer window.

Despite this, Vinicius' future with Real Madrid remains in the balance, especially with previous reports confirming the club's desire to renew the player's contract, which expires in the summer of 2027.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Real Madrid has informed Vinicius' representatives that the latest offer made to renew his contract is the final one, and there will be no further salary increases or additional rounds of negotiations.

The report confirmed that the club's management has placed the player in front of two clear options: either accept the offer and sign a new contract, or open the door for his departure during the current summer transfer window, in order to avoid entering the final year of his contract and the possibility of leaving for free.
